I love it. What a happy bunch of critters. Gosh, I miss my dogs. Have to settle for pussy cats now though. What's the plant? I'm unfamiliar?
It is a Hellebore- its late blooming this year.

The ornamental cherry is already gorgeous.
We are having what locals call "Blackberry Winter" over here.
Freezing temps have hit my rose bushes blackening the new leaves. They are talking about snow this weekend. We have to be at a bike show - six hour ride each way - gonna be a cold one.
We've had a wet cold spring, warming up a little but still cold at night.
I have to check in here more often. Love the pups. Very slick, those black ones. Someone once said to me it looked like I put Armor All on my dogs because they're so shiny.
It's so green and lush there, up north. Pretty.
We quite often notice and remark upon the shiny factor.
