I love the colors in this and can see how this would make a wonderful watercolor. I am sure you would excel at the rusty rooftop.

I am going to paint more local stuff without going to all the compositional work that I usually do.

Hi. There's some interesting old building on Dove Creek Rd if your out looking for inspiration. This one looks familiar, where were you?

Thanks, Cara- I'm going to take lots of local pictures with my trusty $30 digital camera. I'll take it with me all summer as I work.

I also take my camera with me everywhere. Sometimes I look back at something I shot and wonder what in the world I was thinking...
Also my best friend and I have this funny litle game we play on my husband. When he wanders off she takes photos of me (using my camera) with every stranger in the place and then when the film is developed he is always confused as to why he doesn't recognise these people.

Cara, I was right, you are a funny, nasty little girl. I had a brother in law who was a writer. To amuse himself, he saved old xmas cards and put them in new envelopes and sent them to an assorted mailing list--who of course probably were stumped as to who that person was who sent the card. ha ha goofy
